Criations™ is pronounced like Creations so why do we spell it “Criations”?

The Alpaca was domesticated by the ancient Incan Indians of the South American, Andes Mountains. Alpaca’s soft and warm fleece was so valued, it was once reserved it only for Incan royalty. The Incans gave us the name “Cria” for a newborn Alpaca and pronounced it Kree-Ah.

Each Spring, Alpaca fleece is harvested by shearing. The Alpacas are unharmed and only asked to grow back the truly amazing fleece they give us in return, year after year. Enjoy...

Who are we?

Since 2006, we at Criations™ are dedicated to “criating” the finest natural and renewable products manufactured in the USA in the most respectful to Mother Earth way possible.

Two of Criations,LLC’s three Managing Partners each own and operate alpaca farms bringing over 25 years of alpaca breeding and fiber art experience to the party. Our third Managing Partner brings an advanced Textile Engineering degree and nearly 50 years of textile engineering and manufacturing expertise.
